What Are Real Touch Flowers?

Updated: Aug 5, 2019

Many people are not familiar with real touch flowers. Believe it or not, they have been around for years. The first ones on the market were plastic and more appropriate for grave monuments. The real touch flowers of today are specially manufactured. Each silk petal is dipped in a special latex or polyurethane. This process gives them the look and feel of real flowers.

We love these flowers for many reasons. First of all they are gorgeous. The fact that these flowers last for many years makes it perfect for those who want a remembrance of their wedding day. Fortunately these flowers are easy to care for. Stored flowers that have been smashed can be quickly dipped in hot water to revive their shape. Dusting can be easily done with a small paint brush.

If you are considering an alternative to real flowers, we recommend you look at the real touch. The picture below shows a sample of some.

These real touch flowers includes a snapdragon, roses, baby's breath, dahlia, and two spider mums.
